2. SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, QATAR

Our client is a well-known investment and financial services company looking for a Senior Business Development Officer to join their expanding team in Qatar. The role is to support the Business Development Manager and Head of Business Development in the product development plan of the company with the primary aim of developing and managing the Bank's total product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head in formulating a product launch plan for each and every product (this includes the development of a proper campaign brief and product training plan for all the staff in charge of selling the product) and review of set launch plan.

• Connect with the business to fill in the product sheet to gain a clear understanding of: target market, description of components, financing, regulatory impact, profit rates, fees; and other characteristics that affect product development.

• Stay abreast of global and regional Development Banking trends pertaining to SME and entrepreneur products

• Update the product term sheet periodically on a monthly basis and prepare reports relating to the operational and economic trends

• Coordinate with all teams to ensure products designed are synchronized and has cross selling opportunities.

• Coordinate with Risk, Legal and Compliance to ensure product's adherence to risk appetite and required regulations.

• Assist the BD officer in gathering of information and post launch assessments done.

• Gather market and industry trends and complaints on specific products in order to determine the possible impact and ensure enhancement.

• Act as a financial expert and will provide a breakdown of the entire Business Development portfolio and product breakdown to understand which products is performing well and which is not.

• Support in designing and reviewing MOUs with external stakeholders and developing long lasting partnerships.

• Allocate work to subordinates, nominate for training as per guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime to ensure efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics

• Master's degree in any relevant field would be a plus point

• Minimum of 5 -7 years of Business Development and New Product Development experience preferably in a bank of financial Institution.
