Retaj announces the availability of new opportunity as "Technician & Maintenance Engineer" with one of leading firms that specialized in "Food Production" in Jeddah.
Job description:
Engineering maintenance technician service and repair electrical and mechanical equipment used in industry and making sure machinery and equipment runs smoothly. Involved in a variety of jobs ranging from fixing equipment on a high technology production line, to testing aircraft parts and components in a hangar.
Main Responsibilities:
•Organizing routine servicing schedules
•Allocating work to a team of fitters
•Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate
•Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.
•Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
•Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement equipment to be installed
•Keeping production managers informed of progress
•Organizing teams or individuals to make sure that 24-hour cover is available.
•Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
Skills & Qualities:
•Good math, science and IT skills
•The ability to follow detailed plans and able be to work to deadlines.
•Good practical and technical skills
•Ability in math, science and IT
•Good communication skills
•An understanding of engineering drawings and principles
•The ability to work quickly and under pressure
•Team working skills
•Good problem-solving skills
Conditions:
•Bachelor degree in Engineering, particularly in electrical, manufacturing, mechanical or production engineering
•Five years' of Experience in the same field
Must have a transferable & valid IQAMA in Saudi Arabia
