Job Purpose:


 To support 1st line Support Engineer to maintain the IPTV system, include Hardware and Software.
 Perform daily system health checks to ensure system is fault free and performing without any performance problems.
 Assist in alarm corrective activities to ensure performance related alarms are captured by the 1st line Support team.
 Analyze daily reports which include traffic report, busy hour report, and etc.
 Get involved in software & hardware upgrade.
 Coordinate planned events with other section of Engineering and Planning.
 Perform operation, maintenance & development activities that provide improved performance.
 Monitor the performance of the IPTV platform system and provide proposals for upgrades or extension.
 Submit weekly reports for tasks carried out.
 To be able to provide 24 x 7 on call supports for the IPTV system under his responsibility and ensure system operates without any faults and according to the committed KPI.
 Second Level Technical Support & Fault Management
• Diagnostic & Resolve Issues Escalated from L1
• Produce Technical Report and Give Preventive Guidance
• Manage Trouble Ticket Escalation to L3/GCRMS & Tracking
 IPTV System Routine and Preventive Maintenance
• Inspection and Reporting
• Backup and Reporting
• System fault/issue troubleshooting and reporting
• Tracking Issue/Faults
 Performance Management
• Network/Service KPIs and KQIs definition and implementation
• Compilation of weekly/monthly... reports based on network performance data.
• Performance reporting and performance report administration.
• Periodically evaluate the network subscriber growth patterns and assess these trends.
• System KPI Analyses and Control
• Recommend a strategy to maximize the use of the available capacity and plan incremental network capacity for future growth.


 Configuration & Change Management
• Perform the scheduled work for implementing configuration changes
• Manage the implementation of configuration changes under the agreed procedures
• Manage the integration of new network element according to the planned network rollout schedule
• Maintain a configuration database to document all network equipments and software configuration.

 Release(Version) Management
• Maintain a software library for all releases on operating network elements
• Testing and Release acceptance
• Release Rollout according to Related Change Process
• Generate Release Rollout/Acceptance Report
 Capacity Management
• Maintain system capacity database
• analyze system capacity and generate capacity report

Qualification:
 Education
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) / Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
 Experiences
At least 2+ years of relevant working experience.

Essential Skills:
 Good knowledge in HP / IBM Server and Storage product and etc.
 Experience in IPTV
 Good knowledge in Red hat or SUSE Linux and etc.
 Good knowledge in Network, Switch, Router, Firewall, TCP/IP protocol and etc.
 Good knowledge about network operation processes and interfaces.
 Fluent oral and written English.
 Be familiar with Microsoft Word / Excel / Power Point.
