Review Project specific quality Plan, inspection and test plans, inspection checklists, project specifications and drawings issued for construction.
Overall in-charge of the Quality department of the project.

Comply wIth ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Communicate to the entire organization to follow and implement approved engineering standards, Inspection and test plans and inspection checklists.
Review manpower status on the project site and provide submit sufficient inspection coverage.
Prepare and submit two week Look ahead schedule of inspections and testing.
Report forecast plan of mobilization and demobilization schedule of quality personnel.
Prepare and submit weekly quality report.
Report opertational procedures which affect quality and improve quality within the project quality system
Liase with contractor on matters relating to the project quality system.
To verify that the approved Project Quality plan is being properly followed and the construction works are carried out to satisfy quality requirements.
Evaluate quality personnel qualifications and experience requirements to suit for the project.
Evaluate the quality of materials to be used for the project.
Manage the project quality within the budget and timescale.
Review and implement method statements to carry out works accordingly.
Monitor and maintain daily RFI log to know the status of inspections and assess the reasons for any delay.
Maintain the RFI acceptance rate to be greater than 95%
Minimize the internal NCR’s as far as possible by issuing preventive action requests and proactive notifications.
Liaise with the approved Laboratory to carry out the required tests on soil, water, concrete and asphalt.
Monitor testing items by approved laboratory as per the approved inspection and test plan.
Review inspections issues such as cancellation, rejection and reschedule of RFIs
Review and submit the test reports to authority and retain a copy for the record purposes.
Controlled copies of quality documents are preserved and secured in proper manner.
Liaise with the approved concrete supplier on quality issues.
Liaise with the approved vendors to supply approved materials for the project.
Plan for internal audits.
Report the recommendations of the auditor to the management for review and implement them to ensur that the quality system is suitable, adequate and effective.
Understand the scope of quality in the project.
Monitor quality personnel for smooth inspections.
Monitor technicians availability for testing on time at the site.
Represent the company at quality meetings conducted by the client.
Monitor to see that the latest revised drawings are followed on site.
Superceded drawings and obsolete documents are placed separately in the department.
Review calibration certificates of testing equipement and a record is maintained from time to time and see that the backup testing equipment is available when the primary equipement is sent for calibration.
Monitor material approval requests well in advance as per schedule
Monitor material handling,storage and preservation procedures of materials at site.
Monitor material receiving inspections before releasing the material to the site.
Monitor to move non conformed materials or rejected materials to a designateed area and condemn its use at site.
Review and submit testing laboratory documents company profile, projects handled, other approvals, material test certificates, equipement calibration certificates and technicians profiles, supervisors profiles and organization chart to the client for approval.
Review and submit the quality documents of Ready mix concrete to the client for approval.
Provide quality coverage for all the activities at site.
Provide replacement of inspection personnel in case of emergency leave, sick leave and vacation.
Monitor inspection reports daily.
Monitor test status daily.
Prepare punch list items in the final phase of construction and submit to the client for approval.
Narrative report is prepared after closing punchlist items and handed over to the client for approval.
Final hamndover report and quality documents Dossier soft and hardcopy are prepared consisting of all the documents from the inception of the project to handover stage of the project for acceptance and final release from the Project.
Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.
Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary.
