JOB DESCRIPTION:
One should have at least 3 years of experience with large scale global network operations.
BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast, IPv6, LAN/WAN network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Network solutions, standards and protocols WAN Acceleration, Voice/Video over IP.
TCP/IP and various Internet Protocols DNS, NAT, IPSec, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SSL, SNMP, NFS, IPv4, IPv6, Digital Certificates, Web Security architecture.
L2 technologies-VLANs/VLAN tagging, VTP, Spanning Tree, Etherchannel, portchannel, switched networks
L3 technologies-IP Sub-netting, IP routing, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, HSRP, VRF.
WAN technologies, T1, DSL, DS3, MPLS, VPN, WAN Optimization
Cisco products Routers and Switches ( 4500 series, 6500 series and 1900 series ).
Networking communication principles, network standards, and network security practices.
Network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, VRRP, HSRP, and SNMP.
IP addressing (IPv4 & IPv6), subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPN, etc.
Firewalls, router ACLs, IPSec VPNs, RADIUS, and TACACS.
One should have good knowledge Load-balancers F5 LTM / GTM.
Well experience in Websense Proxy WCG.
Network hardware platforms and their specifications
Troubleshooting stateful packet flows and common network protocol operation
Strong understandings of Cisco's Network implementation in VMWare environment a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good communication and documentation skills
Excellent problem resolution skills
Ability to participate in a regular on-call rotation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering a plus
IT Certification:
One should have CCNP Certification and ITIL Certified is preferred.
*Candidate with transferrable IQAMA is preferred.
