1. MEP DESIGN COORDINATOR, QATAR

Our client is looking to hire a MEP Design Coordinator who reports to the Technical Manager and will be responsible to oversee the project MEP design package delivery from design to construction as per the project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Directly coordinate the MEP design and execution between Consultant and sub-contractors for all Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing systems including: Drainage & Sewage, HVAC, Lighting; UPS, Earthing Systems, Lightning Protection, Gen Set, Power Distribution ,ELV: BMS, PA, AudioA/isual, Emergency Systems, CCTV, Access Control, IT, Fire: Alarm, Fire Fighting, & Smoke Control
• Testing and approving all MEP systems (items and materials)
• Demonstrate and use expert know how of entire MEP part of construction project in all aspects; design, function, installation and coordination with other trades. Should have knowledge of building infrastructure maintenance, operation and automation tools including electrical, mechanical, HVAC life safety and security systems.
• Effective coordination with the Quality Engineer to ensure that the material received at site confirms to the specification and the standards. Immediately report any discrepancy to the Project Manager/Resource Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Project Fit out planning and progress onsite.
• Minimum S years' experience specifically in the design and/or installation in MEP systems & subsystems
• Ideally handled and worked on a project through the complete lifecycle from inception through construction and to a handover.
• Experience in and/or based in a GCC country is ideal & preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum University degree (BS) in Accounting
• CPA or ACCA Certified
• Preferred experience of 10 to 13 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge on international accounting standards
• ERP experience
• Advanced MS Excel skills
