Job brief
We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, support, maintain and evaluate computer networking systems (LAN/WAN) including switches, firewalls, UTMs, backup devices, and email systems. He will be part of an infrastructure support team that is maintain and monitor highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.
Responsibilities
• Configure and Troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, UTMs, load balancers, CUCM, Unity , Cisco Jabber, VPN, Voice GW,PSTN ).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Assist in coordinating special projects including network related wiring plans, LAN/WAN hardware/software purchases, and system installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving; assist in providing network and remote connectivity hardware/software support.
• Maintain LAN user documentation including hardware/software applications, support logs and other related information; research and recommend network and server hardware and software.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
• Liaise with vendors, ISPs and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements
• Require a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in same filed . Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or other related IT fields and a working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Internet/email/data communication systems, standard operating systems, software packages and utilities, and proper records maintenance and storage protocols for local and distributed environments.
• CCNP (Routing, Switching and Collaboration) , CCNA Security is Plus .
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., MPLS,IPSEC,SSLVPN, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of the Mail Exchange, Active Directory , and Mail GW structure .
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
• Experience in FortiNet UTMs, Latest Multilayer Switch , Cisco BE6000 Call Manager, Voice Gateway, Cisco WiFi controllers and access points and Cisco SX20 Video Conferencing will be highly valued.
• Familiar with different type of authentication ( LDAP , FSSO , AAA…..)
