Job description
This role will be responsible for development, maintenance and support software programming applications and components.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, support and deploy desktop and custom web applications.
• Create technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements.
• Design, develop and implement critical applications in a .Net environment.
• Assist and support other team members on multiple projects.
• Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies.
• Reporting and dashboard using Crystal Reports, .Net and Telerik
• Providing support to all the users working on ERP from basic trouble shooting to critical technical issues.
• Interact with ERP team and user’s community to gather and document business requirements.
• Working with several large and complex SQL databases. Create functions, stored procedures, scalar and table valued functions, views and triggers using SQL Server.
• SQL server logical and physical database design, implementation, maintenance.
• Application Performance tuning for SQL queries.
• Ensure backups of multiple environments are maintained.
• Monitor, troubleshoot all databases, application related problems and provide expert support and advice when needed.
Qualification / Skills Required:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a developer
• Minimum 2 years of experience with VB6 (not mandatory), C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, VB.NET, ADO.NET, SQL Programming, Crystal Reports.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Telerik Controls, html,XML, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented
architectures (SOA).
• ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET. REST Web Services a plus.
• SAP ABAP programming is a plus.
• Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, Applying Technical Methods, Creativity and Innovative.
• Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications Understand browser-specific compatibility issues.
